As we turn our eyes upon Jesus, we will spend our time in Scripture. You will notice this week there are many videos: take the opportunity to ask God to speak to you through the Scripture as portrayed in the video. If you best relate to the written Word without the visual accompaniment, please read over the Scriptures on your own as well, to enhance your contemplation on Christ.
To begin, spend some time in prayer.
Ask God for eyes to see and ears to hear.
As we focus on Christ, may the “things of earth” grow dim.

How does “the light shine in the darkness” (John 1:5) through Christ?
Evening Questions:
“He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him” (John 1:10). Is this true today? How do you recognize Christ in and through your life?
