Thanks be to God that Christ’s story for us did not end only in His death!
We know Mary Magdelene, a follower and friend of Jesus, witnessed his death on the cross (Matthew 27:56) and his burial in the tomb (Matthew 27: 61). And, Mary was among the first to meet the resurrected Christ (Matthew 28:1-10).
